Sveriges kungliga historia i stämningsfulla källarvalv i Kungl Slottet.
Praktfulla, vackra dräkter och glittrande vagnar berättar om sagolika
kröningar, bröllop och begravingar vid hovet. Påkostade, stiligt
dekorerade vapen och rustningar speglar dramatiska händelser, i krig
och fred. Bekanta dig med Streiff, Gustav II Adolfs häst. Studera Karl XII:s
leriga blå uniform från 1718 och Gustav III:s kläder från maskeradbalen
1792. I rummet för barn stiger du in i en förtrollad värld. Prova
klänningar och riddarkläder, lek, läs och rita.
The Royal Armoury. Experience Sweden’s royal history in the dark cellar
of the Royal Palace. Splendid costumes and glittering carriages tell stories of
magnificent royal coronations, weddings and funerals. Lavish, intricately decorated
weapons and armor reflect historic drama in times of both war and
peace. Learn about Streiff, the horse belonging to gustav II Adolf. See Karl
XII’s muddy blue uniform from 1718 and the clothing gustav III wore to the
masquerade ball of 1792. In the children’s room, you will find yourself in an
enchanted world. Try on dresses and knight costumes, play, read and draw.
