Other Functions
4 Press d to move the cursor to the next
character position.
When the letter you want is displayed, press d
to move the cursor to the next position and
then select the next letter. Press c to move
backwards in the display.
5 Move the cursor to the last position by
pressing d after entering the title.
When you press d one more time, the entered
title is stored in memory.
6 Press BAND to return to the playback
display.
Handsfree telephoning function
When a call is received or made using a
handsfree telephone unit, sound from this system
is muted automatically and the voice of
the person you talk to come from the speakers.
When Hands-Free: ON in the handsfree telephoning
setting is selected in the initial settings,
handsfree telephoning setting is
activated. (Refer to page 47.)
! When a call is made or received, no source
change is possible.
! When a call is made or received, only two
adjustments (volume and fader/balance)
are possible.
! Operation returns to normal when the
phone connection is ended.
! Telephone standby can be selected as a
source when TELstandby: ON in the telephone
standby setting is selected in the initial
settings. (Refer to page 47.)
Using the telephone muting/
attenuation and handsfree
telephoning function
Telephone muting/attenuation
function
Sound from this system is muted or attenuated
automatically when a call is made or received
using a cellular telephone connected to
this unit. When Hands-Free:OFF in the handsfree
telephoning setting is selected in the initial
settings, the telephone muting/attenuation
setting is activated. (Refer to page 47.)
! The sound is turned off, MUTE or ATT is
displayed and no audio adjustment is possible.
! Operation returns to normal when the
phone connection is ended.
Using different
entertainment displays
You can enjoy entertainment displays while listening
to each sound source.
! When the operation mode 2 is selected,
this function is not available.
% Press ENTERTAINMENT.
Each time you press ENTERTAINMENT the
display changes in the following order:
