GB Giovanni Beatrice was born in Italy
and brought up in the Netherlands
where he has worked in fashion for over
25 years building up a large
international network. Thinking in terms
of opportunities has helped him develop
his knowhow across the entire supply
chain of the garment industry. He spots
market trends and innovations and work
with brands and manufacturers to
convert these developments into routes
for differentiation and profitable market
share growth. He loves being involved
in business development within
emerging countries like Myanmar and
Ethiopia. It gives him first hand
knowledge to be able to support brands
looking for supply partners. Giovanni
Beatrice collaborates with NGOs to
ensure the commercial relevance of
transformation projects.
FR Né en Italie, Giovanni Beatrice a
grandi aux Pays-Bas, où il travaille dans
la mode depuis plus de 25 ans, ce qui
lui a permis de se constituer un vaste
réseau international. Penser en termes
d’opportunités l’a aidé à développer
son savoir-faire d’un bout à l’autre
de la chaîne d’approvisionnement de
l’industrie du vêtement. Il identifie les
tendances du marché et les innovations,
et collabore avec les marques et les
fabricants pour transformer ces
évolutions en moyens de différenciation
et potentiel de croissance des parts de
marché. Il aime s’impliquer dans le
développement commercial de pays
émergents comme le Myanmar et
l’Éthiopie. Cela lui permet d’avoir une
connaissance de première main, très
utile pour accompagner les marques
à la recherche de fournisseurs.
Je collabore avec des ONG afin d’assurer
la pertinence commerciale de leurs
projets de transformation.

Guy and co-founder of ParisFashionLab.
com, a new platform for services in
co-designing and production of
customised, just-in-time garments for
brands and designers. With many years’
experience as a consultant in new
technologies to large corporations and
having worked on several projects
aiming to reinvigorate the customer
experience pathway, Guy Bernier is
working on concepts for hypercustomisation
in clothing. During
Avantex, Guy Bernier will announce the
pilot launch of the ParisFashionLab.com
platform, a new concept, which is both
a virtual online department store and a
supply chain, allowing designers to
share their environment and to manage
all the logistics aspects associated with
just-in-time production and the Internet
of Things.

plateforme de services en co-conception
et production de vêtements
personnalisés en juste à temps pour
les marques et designers. Après avoir
longtemps exercé une activité de
consultant en nouvelles technologies
pour de grands groupes, et travaillé
sur plusieurs projets visant à réenchanter
le parcours client, Guy Bernier travaille
sur les concepts d’hyperpersonnalisation
dans l’habillement. Durant Avantex,
Guy Bernier annoncera la pré-lancement
de la plateforme ParisFashionLab.com,
un nouveau concept à la fois grand
magasin virtuel en ligne et supply
chain permettant aux créateurs de faire
découvrir leur environnement et de gérer
tous les aspects logistiques liés à la
production 4.0 en juste à temps.
