B3. Eastern Switzerland
Day 1: Travel by bus from Lucerne to Glarus – Linthal – Visit of the information center of the new PSP
Linthal 2015 (under construction) and compensating basin Tierfehd – Overnight in Glarus.
Day 2: Travel by bus from Glarus to Chur – Thusis – Via Mala Gorge – Continuation to Solis Dam: visit
and presentation of the bypass tunnel project for bed load transport – On the road to the Julier Pass visit
of the Marmorera Embankment Dam – Continuation to St. Moritz – Overnight in St. Moritz.
Day 3: From St. Moritz continuation of the trip by train on the Bernina Railway Line (UNESCO world
heritage) – Stop at the lower station of the Diavolezza cable car – Ascent to the mountain station
(2980 masl) – Panoramic view of the Bernina Massif – Continuation by train to the Bernina Pass –
Poschiavo – Tirano (I), then by bus along the Valtellina to Bormio – Overnight in Bormio.
Day 4: Travel by bus to Livigno – Punt dal Gall Arch Dam: visit of the dam located just at the Swiss-Italian
border – Continuation to Il Fuorn and Zernez: visit of the information center of the Swiss National Park
– Transfer by bus to Sargans and Zurich via Vereina Tunnel – Farewell dinner and overnight in Zurich.
+ Possibility of adding two extra days (unaccompanied travel B3+):
Day 4: After visiting the Swiss National Park information center in Zernez, transfer by train to St Moritz.
Overnight in St. Moritz.
Day 5: With the Glacier Express train from St. Moritz to Andermatt – Brig – Zermatt. Overnight in Zermatt.
Day 6: Transfer by train to Visp – Bern – Zurich (– Zurich Airport) or Visp – Lausanne – Geneva
(– Geneva Airport).

Jour 1: Voyage en car de Lucerne à Glaris – Linthal – Visite du centre d’information du projet de pompage-turbinage
Linthal 2015 (en construction) et du bassin de compensation de Tierfehd – Nuit à Glaris.
Jour 2: Voyage en car de Glaris à Coire – Thusis – Via Mala – Poursuite en direction du barrage de
Solis – Visite du barrage et de la galerie de by-pass pour alluvions – Sur la route du Col du Julier, visite
de la digue de Marmorera – Continuation en direction de St-Moritz – Nuit à St-Moritz.
Jour 3: De St Moritz poursuite du voyage sur la ligne ferroviaire de la Bernina (inscrite au patrimoine
mondial de l’UNESCO) – Halte au téléphérique de la Diavolezza et montée au sommet (2980 m) – Vue
panoramique sur le massif de la Bernina – Continuation du voyage en direction de Poschiavo – Tirano
(I) –Suite du voyage en car dans la Valteline – Nuit à Bormio.
Jour 4: Déplacement en car à Livigno – Barrage-voûte de Punt dal Gall: visite du barrage situé à la
frontière italo-suisse – Continuation en direction d’Il Fuorn et Zernez: visite du centre d’information du
Parc national suisse – Transfert en car par le tunnel de la Vereina à Sargans et Zurich – Dîner d’adieu
et nuit à Zurich.
Possibilité d’ajouter deux jours supplémentaires (voyage non accompagné B3+):
Jour 4: Après la visite du centre d’information du Parc national à Zernez, transfert par train à
St-Moritz. Soirée et nuit à St-Moritz.
Jour 5: Voyage par le Glacier Express de St-Moritz à Andermatt – Brigue – Zermatt. Nuit à Zermatt.
Jour 6: Transfert en train à Viège – Berne – Zurich (Zurich Aéroport) ou Viège – Lausanne – Genève
(– Genève Aéroport).
