Letztendlich noch einmal vielen Dank an
die vielen engagierten Helfer und an die
vielen kleinen Mannschaften aus zum Teil
kleinen Ländern, die solche Meisterschaften
erst zu richtigen europäischen Vergleichswettkämpfen
werden lassen und
die nach den Wettkämpfen dann ganz
groß sind.
Nach den erfolgreichen Europäischen Polizeisportkonferenzen
im Jahre 2005 in Lübeck und
2007 in Lausanne fand die dritte europäische
Polizeisportkonferenz in der Zeit vom 25. bis
28. September 2009 in St. Petersburg statt. 54
Teilnehmer aus 18 verschiedenen Mitgliedsländern
sowie als „special guests“ zwei Mitglieder
des kuwaitischen Polizeisportverbandes, nahmen
teil.
Die zweitägige Konferenz war von Prof. Dr.
Yuri Podlipiniak sowie seinen Mitarbeitern
hervorragend organisiert und wurde in einem
St. Petersburger Hotel abgehalten.
Nach einer kurzen, warmherzigen Begrüßung
durch Gastgeber Prof. Dr. Yuri Podlipiniak war
es der Chef der Polizei aus St. Petersburg, Vladislav
Piotrovskiy, der ebenfalls eine kurze
Begrüßungsansprache hielt und daneben
einen Einblick auf das Sportgeschehen innerhalb
der russischen Polizei lieferte und sich stolz
über gegenwärtige Erfolge sowie Medaillen

Finally I have to say a big thank you to all the
many dedicated workers and to all the teams
from the European countries, especially the small
teams from the small countries, for supporting
the Championships in a true European sporting
spirit.
After the successful European Police Sports
Conferences in 2005 in Lübeck and 2007 in
Lausanne, the third European Police Sports
Conference was held from the 25 th to the
28 th September 2009 in St. Petersburg. 54
participants from 18 different member countries
attended and two members of Kuwait
Police Sports Association as “special guests” as
well.
The two-day conference was excellently organized
by Prof. Dr. Yuri Podlipiniak and his
staff and was held in a St. Petersburg hotel.
At the beginning, the host, Prof. Dr. Yuri
Podlipiniak gave a short warm-hearted welcome
to the audience. He was followed by
the head of St. Petersburg’s police, Mr.
Vladislav Piotrovskiy, who also gave a short
address of welcome and then provided an
insight into the sporting world in the Russian
police. He was pleased of current achievements
and medals, saying that it is not merely

En fin de compte, encore une fois merci beaucoup
aux nombreux assistants dévoués et à
toutes les équipes des pays européens et surtout
aux petites équipes venant des petits
pays, grâce auxquelles ces championnats ont
connu une véritable dimension européenne.

Après le succès des conférences européennes
sur le sport de Police en 2005 à Lübeck et en
2007 à Lausanne, la troisième édition s’est
déroulée dans la période du 25 à 28 septembre
2009 à Saint-Pétersbourg. 54 participants
de 18 pays membres différents ont
assisté et aussi deux membres de l’Association
Sportive de la Police du Koweït en tant
qu’«invités particuliers.»
La conférence de deux jours avait été organisée
d’une manière excellente par le Prof. Dr
Yuri Podlipiniak et ses collaborateurs et s’est
déroulée dans un hôtel à Saint-Pétersbourg.
Après une allocution chaleureuse de la part
du Prof. Dr Yuri Podlipiniak, c’était Vladislav
Piotrovskiy, le chef de la police de Saint-
Pétersbourg, qui a également prononcé un
bref discours de bienvenue et qui par après
nous a donné un aperçu sur les activités sportives
au sein de la police russe qui est fière de
ses réussites actuelles et des médailles, tout
