Applications

Performance
The improved performance
levels of many Eaton Aeroquip
hose styles, utilizing the new
Eaton Aeroquip Global OTC,
TTC and 2-piece Fitting, includes
increased pressure ratings
and reduced minimum bend
radii. These hose styles include
Eaton Aeroquip AQP ® hose,
HI-IMPULSE ® hose and Hi-
PAC ® hose.
Zero Leakage
The Eaton Aeroquip Global
Fitting meets the most stringent
industry/OEM impulse
and cooldown leakage requirements.
In impulse, the Global OTC,
TTC and 2-piece Fittings
meet Class-0 cooldown leakage
performance per SAE
J1176. What this means to
you is a dry hose assembly.
Crimp Features
After crimping, the socket exterior
envelope has a very low
profile, with no socket skirt. In
the completed assembly, all
critical contact points and
compression surfaces have
been designed to achieve
maximum performance.

Eaton Aeroquip manufactures
the terminal ends of it’s hose fittings
to the appropriate requirements
established by
the SAE and DIN. Therefore,
the performance ratings of
these hose fittings meet the
SAE and DIN requirements. It
is possible to order a hose
assembly with a fitting terminal
end that has a performance
rating lower than the
hose rating.
When ordering hose assemblies,
please keep the
terminal end performance
rating in mind since this
may affect overall hose assembly
performance.
Hose assembly components
(hose and fittings) shown in
this catalogue are easily assembled
in the field. However,
factory assembled crimped
hose assemblies are available.

Flexible hose lines offer
many advantages over rigid
tubing including routing ease,
vibration absorption, sound
deadening and the ability to
accommodate movement of
connected components.
However, hose lines require
caution in use not only to provide
long service but also to
guard against potentially
dangerous failure.
