of conversations for professionals
attending SITL 2022, according to
Laurence Gaborieau, director of RX
France's Transport & Logistics Tourism
& Fitness Healthcare divisions.

devenu en quelques années une
valeur fondamentale du secteur et il
est normal que nous y consacrions
une partie de nos conférences et
ateliers. Le salon se composera de
huit univers : Services Transport
& Logistique; Intralogistique
Robotique & Automatisation;
Emballage, Conditionnement
& Palette; Technologies, IoT &
Systèmes d’Information; Energies
& Equipement de Transport;
Immobilier & Infrastructures
Logistiques; Sécurité, Sureté &
Cyber et enfin Chaîne du Froid.
Et parce que nous sommes un
lieu de rencontres, d'échanges et
de discussions, 150 conférences,
ateliers et exclusive talks sont
prévus durant les quatre jours.
La présentation sera d'ailleurs
assurée par 20 conférenciers
de renom. Autour de la RSE,
on compte près d'une trentaine
d'évènements avec des focus sur
l'économie circulaire, des "green
logistics", les nouvelles énergies
ou encore de la qualité de vie au
travail.
6 grands villages thématiques
sont également construits : les
nouvelles énergies par l’AFGNV,
le fret ferroviaire & combiné,
les marchandises dangereuses,
le start-up Lab, l’Immobilier
Logistique (avec l’AFILOG) et
le Showroom 360. Dans ce
showroom, nos visiteurs pourront
également découvrir trois
espaces distincts et vivre une
expérience originale au sein d’un
décor immersif : l’Entrepôt du
Futur, la Drone Valley et le Circuit
Test. Dans chacun des espaces,
des solutions seront présentées
en condition opérationnelle
afin de permettre aux visiteurs

récompensera les meilleures
innovations du Transport & de
la Logistique alors que le Startup
Contest (8e édition) mettra à
l’honneur les jeunes pousses du
secteur.
Recently appointed to head up the Transport & Logistics,
Tourism & Fitness Healthcare divisions of RX France, the
organisers of SITL, Laurence Gaborieau shares her thoughts
on the eve of SITL’s opening, a first in her new role. A trade
show which, given the difficult context Europe is going through,
demonstrates the vital importance of the transport and logistics
sector in driving the continent’s economy.
What is the overriding feeling a
few days before the opening of this
edition of SITL?
Laurence Gaborieau - The feelings
are mixed given the current context,
but we want to remain optimistic
and confident. On the one hand,
we are happy to be back in hall
6 of Paris Nord Villepinte with
such a high quality show, both in
terms of the exhibitors and the
programme. As the government
recently announced the easing of
health measures, we will have the
pleasure of seeing the faces and
smiles of our exhibitors and visitors.
All while respecting certain barrier
measures which are now part of our
daily lives!
On the other hand, today’s context
is humanly and economically
complicated. Indeed, the transport
and logistics sector appears to be
a collateral victim of the Russian -
Ukrainian conflict, and is suffering
from the rise of fuel prices and
certain route closures, as well as
staff shortages. I would therefore
like to reaffirm that we will stand
behind our people, alongside
the 500 exhibitors who RSVPed
attending - including industry
leaders, who will present their know
how and innovations in terms of
products and services to around
20,000 visitors.
Tell us more about this year’s
programme. What are the
highlights?
SITL 2022's programme is
extremely rich with Corporate
Social Responsibility (CSR) being
a common thread. CSR has become
one of the sector's fundamental
values over the past few years and
it is therefore appropriate for us to
dedicate part of our conferences
and workshops to it. The show
is made up of eight 'universes',
including Transport & Logistics
Services; Intralogistics Robotics &
Automation; Packing, Packaging
& Pallet; Technologies, IoT &
Information Systems; Energy &
Transport Equipment; Real Estate &
Logistics Infrastructures; Security,
Safety & Cyber ​and finally Cold
Chain. These last two universes
are generally under represented,
so we are giving them all the space
they need during SITL 2022. Also
because we are all about meetings,
exchanges and discussions, there
are 150 conferences, workshops and
exclusive talks on offer over the four
days, presented by 20 renowned
speakers. As for CSR, there will be
around 30 events looking at the
