I. PENDAHULUAN / I. INTRODUCTION
1.1 Pengertian Produk Domestik Regional
Bruto (PDRB)
PDRB merupakan neraca makro
ekonomi yang dihitung secara konsisten dan
terintegrasi berdasarkan konsep, definisi,
klasifikasi dan cara penghitungan yang telah
disepakati secara internasional. Tujuan
menghitung PDRB adalah untuk mengetahui
total produksi barang dan jasa pada suatu
wilayah selama kurun waktu tertentu.
Nilai PDRB adalah nilai tambah dari
total produksi tersebut. Sedangkan yang
dimaksud dengan produksi adalah aktivitas
ekonomi menggunakan sumber daya yang
tersedia untuk memproduksi barang dan jasa.
Perubahan nilai PDRB dari waktu ke
waktu terjadi karena dua hal, yaitu terjadinya
perubahan harga barang dan jasa atau
karena terjadinya perubahan volume.
Karenanya ada dua macam nilai PDRB
disajikan yakni berdasarkan harga konstan
dan berdasarkan harga berlaku.
PDRB atas harga konstan disebut juga
PDRB volume atau PDRB riil
menggambarkan perubahan volume dalam
kegiatan ekonomi. Nilai PDRB ini dihitung
berdasarkan harga pada periode tahun dasar
yaitu tahun 2000. Hal ini dimaksudkan agar
pertumbuhan ekonomi dapat dipantau dari
waktu ke waktu sejak tahun 2000.
Selain PDRB atas dasar harga konstan,
publikasi ini juga menyajikan PDRB atas
dasar harga berlaku untuk mengetahui
struktur ekonomi suatu daerah dan
pergeserannya dari waktu ke waktu.

1.1 Concept of Gross Regional Domestic
Product (GRDP)
GRDP is a consistent and integrated
macro economic account created base upon
a set of internationally agreed concept,
definition, classification and accounting rule.
One of the goals is to identify the total
production of goods and services produced in
certain region during a given period.
The GRDP value is an added value
obtained from these total productions.
Furthermore, production is defined as
economic activity to produce goods and
services using the available resources.
The GRDP values change over time due
to either changing price or changing volume
of goods and services. Thus, the GRDP
values are presented in constant price and
current price.
GRDP at constant price which is also
called as GRDP in volume terms or real
terms, takes into account the changing
volume in each item covered, so that the
value is counted based on the prices
prevailed in a given past period, that is the
year of 2000. Thus, the economic growth can
be followed over time from the year of 2000.
Besides presenting GRDP at constant
price, this publication also produces GRDP at
current price which is normally used to show
the economic structure of the region.
