Penurunan kontribusi yang diberikan
kelompok primer erat kaitannya dengan
penurunan nilai tambah dari subsektor
pertambangan minyak dan gas (migas).
Penurunan ini diakibatkan oleh menurunnya
volume produksi kegiatan pertambangan di
Aceh yang terus menurun setiap tahun. Kondisi
ini diperkirakan akan terus berlanjut pada tahun-
tahun berikutnya seiring dengan semakin
menipisnya cadangan minyak dan gas yang
akan dieksploitasi di Aceh. Terkecuali jika
ditemukan ladang minyak dan gas yang baru di
wilayah Aceh. Selain itu, penurunan kontribusi
sektor primer juga dipengaruhi oleh faktor nilai
jual produksi dari minyak dan gas di pasar
ekspor.

Sebagaimana pada Gambar 2.2 dapat
dijelaskan bahwa kontribusi migas terhadap
PDRB Aceh masih mencapai angka 30,07
persen pada tahun 2007. Namun, kontribusi
yang diberikan migas ini terus menurun setiap
tahunnya sehingga pada tahun 2010 hanya
menjadi 16,64 persen.

Decline in the contribution provided by the
primary group was closely related with the
decrease in the added value of the sub-sector of
oil and gas mining. This decline was caused by
mining activity production volume in Aceh that
kept decreasing every year. This condition is
expected to continue in subsequent years in line
with the depletion of oil and gas reserves to be
exploited in Aceh. Except if new oil and gas
fields are found in Aceh. In addition, the decline
in the contribution of primary sector was also
influenced by sale value of oil and gas
production in the export market.

As in the Figure 2.2, it explains the role of
oil and gas sector to Aceh’s GRDP still reached
30.07 percent in 2007. However, the
contribution of oil and gas continued to decline
each year so that by 2010 only 16.64 percent.
