ENTREPRENEURSHIP : A LANE TO SUCCESS
Every weekend when I am on
the way back to my parents’ place,
I will always pass by elite housing areas
nearby. Every time I was there,
I would always stop for a while and
look through the car’s window and
think. “What on earth these people
do to get these beautiful houses
with at least three luxurious cars?”
In my thoughts, I predict that the
owners must be ‘somebody’, perhaps
none of them is the government
servant or a common worker
in any private sector. My prediction
is somehow true as I have been told
that most of them involve in business.
They are commonly known as
‘Entrepreneurs’.
Can you imagine yourself in a
few years from now to be the owner
of such mansion with the latest
branded car like BMW or Mercedez
Benz? OR will you have a big company
registered under your name?
OR perhaps do you think that you
are able to have holidays overseas
at least twice a year? I am definitely
sure even if we work more than 30
years working under other people,
we shall not dream to have these
things. Imagine with our salary
which is not more than RM 3000 per
month (perhaps lesser), how would
we able to buy a house worth at
least a million?
Based on my observation, I
would say that involving ourselves
with business will probably lead us
to be escaped from our moderate
lifestyles. According to a statistic,
74% of people who become
millionaires start off their living with
businesses. If you are not interested
to be one of them and you rather
like to work under people, therefore
it will be difficult to be millionaires. It
is not impossible but it takes ages to
reach the status. Why do I say so?
This is because by having our own
business, we should be able to work
more than we are required to. We
will automatically double up our
work and effort to double up our
income. In other words, the money
we get is based on the work we do.
Yet, the best thing is you will be rolling
as much money as you wish.
Below are some checklists if you
want to know if Entrepreneur should
be your chosen career. If most of
your answers are YES, why don’t
you kick off for a better life?
Are you able to work more than 70
hours per week? An Entrepreneur
would always come early in the office
and leave it late at night.

Are you a sort of person
who is able to focus your
mind and soul on work that
should be done?
Do you have a clear mission
and vision on what you
want to do?
Are you able to ask for help
from people surround you in
terms of education, money
and support? 84 % of an individual’s
success depending
so much on people
around him or her.

Do you like to socialise with
others? You need to know
that business is not a ‘one
man show’. You need to be
around the successful people
who are willing to share
out their experiences.
Are you sort of person who
love to read? Reading
would be the best weapon
for Entrepreneurs to solve
their problems if things went
wrong.Do you love to save
money? Successful people
would not like to spend too
much money for irrelevant
purposes as they know how
difficult to search for money.
Do you love to donate?
According to a book written
by Dr. Thomas Stanley,
‘The Millionaire’s Mind,
one of positive attitudes
of these successful people
is they love to share what
they have with others.
Our Prophet Muhammad
SAW has also reminded us
through hadith that once
we give sincerely, we will
get ten in return.
Are you willing to take risks?
To be successful, you need
to face all challenges and
obstacles in the business
world.
Do you believe that to be
rich that there will be no
short cuts whatsoever? Entrepreneurs
would always
work hard day and night,
thinking on the ways to
make the money move.
