divenuta al 90% di Sacmi. Riedhammer
ha chiuso il 2004 con un fatturato
di 53 milioni di euro, portando così a
circa 120 milioni di euro il fatturato
consolidato dell’area Whiteware.
Anche il mercato della stoviglieria,
dopo anni di arretramenti, ha mostrato
nel 2004 qualche timido segnale di
ripresa dovuto essenzialmente, anche
in questo caso, alla nascita di alcuni
nuovi impianti in Paesi in via di sviluppo.
L’area di business Whiteware si è
confermata attraverso la consociata tedesca
Sama assoluto leader di mercato,
beneficiando in misura netta di tali
segnali positivi.
A confermare la leadership mondiale
del Whiteware anche dal punto di
vista tecnico e tecnologico sono state
nel 2004 le nuove proposte lanciate
sul mercato dalle controllate: la Niv
con la nuova macchina ADM 080, piccola
e flessibile unità monostampo per
il colaggio in alta pressione di lavabi,
cassette e piatti doccia; la Gaiotto con
le nuove soluzioni ad elevatissima
automazione di manipolazione e finitura
robotizzata dei vari articoli sanitari;
la Sama con le nuove proposte in tema
di macchine finitrici, da affiancare
alle presse isostatiche, per la finitura
robotizzata di articoli di forma irregolare
e, comunque, non circolare.
In 2004, after years of stagnation, the
tableware market started showing
weak signs of recovery. Once again,
this was largely due to the establishment
of new production facilities in
developing nations. The Whiteware
division took full advantage of these
positive signs through its subsidiary
Germany company, Sama, the undisputed
leader in the tableware market.
Whiteware’s world leadership status
was also underlined from a technological
point of view in 2004, as demonstrated
by new machines designed
and developed by subsidiary companies:
Niv offered the new ADM 080, a
a small yet versatile single-mould unit
for the high-pressure casting of washbasins,
tanks and shower trays;
Gaiotto produced new high-automation
solutions for the robotized handling
and finishing of various sanitaryware
items while Sama put forward
new robotized finishing machines (to
complement isostatic presses) for the
finishing of irregularly-shaped or noncircular
items.
