Tomba Moretti
Consta di una camera unica con soffitto a doppio
spiovente. Recentemente è stata dedicata a Mario
Moretti, che ha per lungo tempo ricoperto l’incarico di
Soprintendente dell’Etruria Meridionale. Sulle pareti
laterali sono raffigurati danzatori, in quella di fondo è
raffigurata una donna riccamente vestita e adorna di
gioielli, probabilmente la defunta, verso la quale si
dirige un uomo in atto di offrirle una coppa. Datazione:
500 - 490 a.C.
Consists of a single chamber with a sloping roof.
Recently, these burial chambers were dedicated in
honour of Mario Moretti who long held the position of
Superintendent of Archaeological Conservation for
Southern Etruria. Dancers decorate the side walls and
at the rear wall a richly dressed woman, adorned in
jewellery is depicted - probably an image of the
deceased. A man is painted in the act of offering a
cup to the woman. Dated: 500-490 B.C.

Tombe della Fustigazione
E’ formata da un'unica camera quadrangolare con
soffitto a doppio spiovente. Al centro delle pareti sono
dipinte delle porte. Ai lati delle porte sono rappresentati
musici e danzatori alternati a scene erotiche,
ciascuna con una donna e due comasti. In una scena
la donna viene fustigata da un comasta e questa
azione ha dato il nome alla tomba. Datazione: fine VI
secolo a.C.
Consists of a single square chamber with a sloping
roof. Doors are painted at the center of the rear wall.
Scenes of dancers and musicians are intertwined
with those of an erotic nature on the side walls.
Depicting a woman with two male revellers. In one
scene the woman is being whipped by the reveller
and it is from this gesture that the tomb has been
named. Dated: End of the 6th century B.C.

Tomba dei Fiorellini
La tomba fu scavata nel 1960 ed è costituita da
un'unica camera con soffitto a doppio spiovente e
banchina. Sulle pareti sono rappresentate scene di
banchetto, danze e musica. Particolare la decorazione
del frontone della parete di fondo dove sono
rappresentati due galli affrontati, pronti al combattimento.
Datazione metà V secolo a.C.
This tomb was excavated in 1960 and consists of a
single chamber with a sloping roof and a benches.
Banquet scenes adorn the walls with dance and
music. The rear wall pediment holds a unique fresco
wherein two roosters are posed, ready to fight - an
ancient cock fight. Dated: First half of the the 5th
century B.C.

Tomba Bettini
Consta di una camera unica con soffitto a doppio
spiovente. E’ stata recentemente dedicata alla memoria
dell'architetto che si era occupato del restauro e
della conservazione delle tombe etrusche dipinte di
Tarquinia. Sulla parete di fondo è rappresentata una
scena di banchetto con due "klynai" sulle quali sono
sdraiati due coppie di uomini, dietro e a fianco ad essi
si trovano delle donne stanti. Sulle pareti laterali sono
rappresentate scene di danza e musica, ambientate
in un boschetto popolato di uccelli, con alberelli
decorati da festoni. Datazione: metà V secolo a.C.
Consists of a single chamber with a sloping roof. It was
recently dedicated in memory of the architect who was
responsabile for the restoration and conservation of all the
Etruscan painted tombs in Tarquinia. A banquet scene is
depicted on the rear wall of the tomb with two pairs of
men, each reclining on separate “klynai” (type of couch)
while women are standing both behind and at their sides.
The side walls depict festive scenes of dance and music
set in an enchanting forest full of birds and tress adobed
for a party. Dated: First half of the 5th century B.C.
