Lengthwise Cutting<br />

• Set the parallel stop (Fig. 2/pos. 3) at<br />

the required width in relation to the saw<br />

disc. .<br />

• Lay the work on the bearing surface are,<br />

the flatter/wider side should lay flat on<br />

the saw bench.<br />

• Guide the wider work with hand, the<br />

smaller one with use of a sliding guide<br />

rod (Fig. 1/pos. 11).<br />

• Caution: Keep a large safety<br />

distance from the saw disc.<br />

Chamfer cuts<br />

• Release the lock lever (Fig. 2/pos. 12)<br />

and set the required angle on the rotary<br />

wheel (Fig. 2/pos. 10)<br />

• Make sure that the splitting wedge<br />

(Fig. 2/pos. 18) is always flushed with<br />

the disc. .<br />

• Secure lock laver (Fig. 2/pos. 12) again<br />

.<br />

• Chamfer cuts should be always done<br />

using the parallel stop (Fig. 2/pos. 3).<br />

Cross Cutting<br />

• Put the cross stop into one of two<br />

grooves on the saw bench and set up<br />

the required angle measure .<br />

• If the disc is to be adjusted at an angle<br />

as well (see Fig. 15), a groove should<br />

be used to prevent any contact of your<br />

hand and of the cross stop with the disc<br />

cover .<br />
