The pointer in the display moves on its own<br />
A "drift" has occurred. However, this is not a malfunction. The pointer will stabilize<br />
if you do not touch the stick for a few seconds.<br />
My mouse does not work<br />
If you are using an external mouse, check that the mouse is plugged into the mouse<br />
<br />
connector.<br />
If you have connected an external mouse while your computer is on, you must<br />
<br />
restart your computer.<br />
If you are using an optional <strong>Sony</strong> USB mouse, check that the mouse is plugged into<br />
<br />
the USB connector.<br />
The key top comes off<br />
Put it back where it was and press it until it clicks.<br />
If you take off the key top intentionally or press it excessively when you replace it, it<br />
may cause a malfunction. Handle it with care.<br />

About Digital Video Captures and DVgate<br />
While I'm recording images to a digital video device using DVgate, my system displays the<br />
message Recording to DV device failed. Check the power and cable connections to<br />
the DV device and try the o<strong>per</strong>ation again…<br />
Close all open applications and restart your computer. Frequent recording of images<br />
to a digital video device while using DVgate sometimes causes this to occur. For more<br />
