La durata così calcolata viene defi nita durata di base (L<strong>10</strong>h) espressa in<br />
ore di funzionamento.<br />
Si ricorda che le durate dei cuscinetti sono calcolati su coeffi cienti di carico<br />
dinamico forniti dai costruttori dei cuscinetti. Tali carichi sono basati<br />
sulla durata che si prevede che possa venir raggiunta o superata dal 90%<br />
dei cuscinetti di una campionatura suffi cientemente grande, costituita da<br />
unità apparentemente tutte uguali.<br />
Il 50% dei cuscinetti può raggiungere una durata 5 volte superiore a qella<br />
indicata dal calcolo.<br />
Il <strong>10</strong>% dei cuscinetti, tuttavia, può non raggiungere la durata di vita calcolata.<br />
Nella tabella seguente sono indicati i massimi carichi assiali ammessi per<br />
una durata di base (L<strong>10</strong>h), calcolata secondo quanto previsto dalle Norme<br />
ISO, pari a 20.000 ore di funzionamento.<br />

These loads are based on the duration that is expected to be reached or<br />
exceeded by 90% of the bearings of a sufficiently large sample, consisting<br />
of units apparently all the same.<br />
50% of bearings can reach a life 5 times greater the one indicated by<br />
calculation.<br />
<strong>10</strong>% of bearings, however, can not reach the lifespan calculated.<br />
Next table shows the maximum permitted axial loads for a basic life<br />
(L<strong>10</strong>h), calculated according to the provisions of the ISO Standards,<br />
equal to 20.000 hours of operation.<br />
