MONACOR International si distinguono<br />
generalmente da un'alta<br />
qualità tecnica e visiva senza che<br />
per questo sia difficile costruirseli<br />
da soli.<br />
Il THESIS fa l'eccezione perché<br />
chiede non solo una certa abilità<br />
artigianale ma anche una certa<br />
attrezzatura. In compenso, la fatica<br />
maggiore che la costruzione<br />
chiede viene rimunerata da una<br />
qualità del suono senza pari in<br />
questa categoria di prezzo.<br />
Lo sviluppo del THESIS ha sfruttato<br />
le conoscenze provenienti dallo<br />
sviluppo scientifico di monitor di<br />
campo vicino super specializzati<br />
per usi professionali. Purtroppo, la<br />
produzione industriale raramente<br />
riesce a tradurre in risultati concreti<br />
queste richieste perché ciò<br />
sarebbe troppo dispendioso.<br />
La cassa del THESIS è del tutto<br />
asimmetrica. Non si ripete nessuna<br />
distanza da un altoparlante ad<br />
uno spigolo o una superficie riflettente.<br />
In questo modo si riducono<br />
al minimo le interferenze.<br />
Lo stesso vale per le onde stazionarie<br />
e per le riflessioni all'interno<br />
della cassa.<br />

optical quality without making<br />
rebuilding more difficult.<br />
The THESIS is an exception in this<br />
case and requires some manual<br />
skill as well as a certain tool<br />
equipment. The greater effort to<br />
build the cabinet is rewarded by<br />
a sound quality which cannot be<br />
found again in the price class of<br />
this building kit.<br />
In the development of the THESIS<br />
different considerations have<br />
been included which originate<br />
from the scientific development<br />
of highly specialized near-field<br />
monitors for the studio technique.<br />
Unfortunately these requirements<br />
cannot always consequently be<br />
realized in case of industrial<br />
manufacture, as the extensive<br />
cabinet manufacturing would<br />
demand very high prices there.<br />
The cabinet of the THESIS is completely<br />
asymmetric. No distance<br />
from a speaker to a reflecting<br />
edge or area is repeated. Thus,<br />
disturbing interferences referring<br />
to special frequencies are minimized.<br />
The same applies to standing<br />
waves and reflections within<br />
the cabinet.<br />
