Los Angeles Hardwood Club Mem Orange, Calif.– The Los Angeles Hardwood Lumbermans Club (LAHLC) recently held several events lately, including Ladies Night celebration at the Orange Hill Restaurant, located here. Accompanying photos of that event feature several attendees. Also, the LAHLC announced the winners of its first annual scholarship award. Four scholarships for 0 each were awarded to the following students: Brendan Osborne, Kathryn Buechel, Kevin Porter and Kelsey Fitzgerald. The awards were open to immediate family of a LAHLC member in college or graduate school with a minimum 2.5 grade point average. Participants submitted essays about their favorite wood products, which were evaluated by the LAHLC board. Earlier this spring, the LAHLC gathered for its annual day at the Santa Anita Park for horse racing. The LAHLC serves as a social club for its members, who gather to network and share industry insight. The LAHLC was first formed in 1969.
