SUMMARY
STUDIES MOTIVATION FOR STUDENTS OF ELEKTRONICS ENEGINEERING STUDY
PROGRAMME AT VILNIUS COLLEGE
The purpose of this research is to find out student’s motivation for studies of electronics
engineering programme at Vilnius College. Subject of research are students of electronics
engineering study programme at Vilnius college motives, which determinant theirs studies.
The main tasks of research are:
• to review literature and others information sources;
• to review activity of institution;
• to carry out a survey of students;
• to analyze the results of survey;
• to generalize the results of survey;
• to propose an offers according to results of survey.
This article has two mains parts – theoretical and practical.
In theoretical part there are reviewed the main circumstances of studies motivation and the
factors, which are influence the motivation. Additionally there are found out the ways and means,
which can intensify studies motivation for students.
In the practical part the data of the questionnaires of the respondents were analyzed in various
aspects and helped to investigate the main motives, which determinate study.
Based on the literature analysis and of survey results came to a conclusion that:
• The main factors, which determinate study motivation are:
• the level of students achievements depends on college climate;
• studies load must be desirable;
• during lectures students feel pleasure;
• teaching material is engrossing.
• Results of students survey showed, that 43% students of electronics engineering study
programme at Vilnius college chose this study program because it is prestigious in the
society. 40% students wanted to study this particular study program. It means that you
