naar uit, zo blijkt uit een publicatie in 2001. 108<br />
Uit <strong>de</strong> rapportages van <strong>de</strong> werkgroep CCCTB die in 2004 door <strong>de</strong> Eur<strong>op</strong>ese<br />
Commissie in het leven is geroepen, blijkt dat steeds ver<strong>de</strong>r afstand is<br />
genomen van het i<strong>de</strong>e om IFRS als uitgangspunt te nemen voor een<br />
CCCTB. In eerste instantie vorm<strong>de</strong> IFRS een uitgangspunt, terwijl later nog<br />
slechts wordt gesproken over een instrument om <strong>de</strong> discussies te voeren<br />
vanuit het gemeenschappelijke vocabulaire dat IAS/IFRS biedt. 109 In <strong>de</strong><br />
rapportage van <strong>de</strong> CCCTB werkgroep van 26 juli 2007 wordt helemaal<br />
afstand gedaan van IAS/IFRS en wordt voorgesteld om uit te gaan van <strong>de</strong><br />
verschillen<strong>de</strong> nationale General Accepted Accounting Principles (“GAAP”)<br />
waarbij dan een aantal aanpassingen vereist zijn om te voldoen aan <strong>de</strong><br />
regels en <strong>de</strong>finities van <strong>de</strong> CCCTB om zo te komen tot een uniforme<br />

further. Although not directly related to taxation, this <strong>de</strong>vel<strong>op</strong>ment may generally help the<br />
future <strong>de</strong>vel<strong>op</strong>ment of a common corporate tax base and to some extent the IAS may<br />
serve as a useful point of reference.”<br />
