2 <strong>Finitude</strong> <strong>das</strong> <strong>possibilidades</strong>, <strong>finitude</strong> <strong>do</strong> <strong>relacionamento</strong> <strong>amoroso</strong><br />

ABSTRACT<br />

In this article we intend to reflect on how love relationships are currently being<br />

constituted and directed the issue about the possibility of formalization or not<br />

relationships established. It is the phenomenological investigation of conflicts<br />

experienced by the characters Gabriel and Joy, of the book Temporada de<br />

Casamento (2005) authored by Darcy Cosper, in the light of discussions about the<br />

Kierkegaardian existence. The leitmotif of this study, from the characters' speech was<br />

to highlight some words and interpret them comprehensively, supported by the<br />

contributions of these interpretations of contemporary authors and ideas of<br />

Kierkegaard. This novel focuses on the struggles and reflections of the character Joy<br />

Silverman about her decision of not to officiate a formal union with her boyfriend<br />

Gabriel. Sought, with this work, an open space of theme for the issue of how loving<br />

relationships have been constituted at present, trying to understand the dilemmas in<br />

question the existence of such a couple of fiction. Thus, it is expected to contribute to<br />

a better understanding of the therapeutic space as a place of reflection, openness of<br />

possibilities, with the sense that the client know yourself and take ownership of their<br />

choices, while unmarried, engaged, separated, married, father, son, mother, finally,<br />

subject to his own life.<br />
