NEW MANAGEMENT
FOR MOVERGS
AMovergs (Associação das Indústrias de Móveis do Estado
do Rio Grande do Sul) está com nova direção para
o biênio 2023/2024. O empresário Euclides Longhi, 63
anos, natural de Bento Gonçalves (RS), foi eleito por
aclamação para presidir a associação e iniciou sua gestão
em janeiro de 2023 com a proposta de fortalecer o associativismo
e conectar ainda mais os associados buscando estudos, análises,
soluções e incentivo à inovação, além do desafio de acompanhar
os movimentos políticos e econômicos do Brasil e de outros países.
Pela primeira vez a direção da Movergs terá diretores atuando de
forma partilhada com o Sindmóveis, seguindo tendência da economia
colaborativa sendo aplicada pelas maiores entidades representativas
do setor moveleiro no Rio Grande do Sul. Na entrevista
a seguir, o novo presidente fala sobre suas expectativas para realização
da FIMMA (Feira Internacional de Fornecedores da Cadeia
Produtiva da Madeira e Móveis) em 2023, suas propostas e desafios
para o setor:

The State of Rio Grande do Sul Association of Furniture Manufacturers
(Movergs) has new management for the 2023/2024
biennium. Businessman Euclides Longhi, 63, a native of Bento
Gonçalves (RS), was elected by acclamation to preside over
the Association. He began his mandate in January 2023 with
the proposal to strengthen associativism further connecting associates
promoting studies, analyses, solutions, and incentives for innovation, in
addition to the challenge of monitoring the political and economic movements
within Brazil and abroad. Furthermore, for the first time, Movergs’
management will have Directors acting together with those of Sindmóveis,
following the trend of the collaborative economy that is being
applied by the largest representative entities of the Furniture Sector in
the State of Rio Grande do Sul. In the following interview, the new President
talks about his expectations for the realization of the International
Fair of Suppliers for the Wood and Furniture Production Chain (Fimma)
in 2023, his proposals, and the challenges faced by the Sector:
