Market<strong>in</strong>gul nu Tnseamna a v<strong>in</strong><strong>de</strong>! Tntr-a<strong>de</strong>var, ca ~i conceptul <strong>de</strong><br />

vanzari, conceptul <strong>de</strong> market<strong>in</strong>g are ca punct <strong>de</strong> plecare piata, Tnsa vanzarea<br />

se concentreaza pe nevoile vanzatorului, iar market<strong>in</strong>gul pe satisfacerea<br />

cer<strong>in</strong>telor clientului, cu ajutorul produsului ~i toate lucrurile asociate ­<br />

crearea, livrarea ~i consumarea lor.<br />

Privita ca 0 sfera <strong>de</strong> confruntare a cererii cu oferta, piata Tntrepr<strong>in</strong><strong>de</strong>rii<br />

exprima raporturile care se formeaza Tntre oferta proprie, alcatuita d<strong>in</strong> unul<br />

sau mai multe produse (servicii) ~i cererea pentru acestea. Ca subdiviziune a<br />

pietei totale, piata produsului (serviciului) poate fi <strong>de</strong>f<strong>in</strong>ita pr<strong>in</strong> gradul <strong>de</strong><br />

penetratie a acestuia Tn consum, <strong>de</strong> solicitare <strong>de</strong> catre consumatori, pr<strong>in</strong><br />

posibilitatile prezente ~i viitoare <strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong>sfacere a lui.<br />

Vom <strong>de</strong>zvolta tematica <strong>in</strong>titulata "Prospectarea pietei <strong>cartoful</strong>ui<br />

(samanta, consum, <strong>in</strong>dustrial) ~i a <strong>de</strong>rivatelor acestuia pentru corelarea<br />

ofertei cu cererea ~i evitarea risipei <strong>de</strong> resurse" cuajutorul unei cercetari <strong>de</strong><br />

market<strong>in</strong>g.<br />

Exista mai multe <strong>de</strong>f<strong>in</strong>itii ale cercetarii <strong>de</strong> market<strong>in</strong>g.<br />

o s<strong>in</strong>tezaa punctelor <strong>de</strong> ve<strong>de</strong>re ale diver~ilor speciali~ti conduce la<br />

concluzia ca cercetarea <strong>de</strong> market<strong>in</strong>g reprez<strong>in</strong>ta activitatea formala pr<strong>in</strong><br />

<strong>in</strong>termediul careia, cu ajutorul unor concepte, meto<strong>de</strong> ~i tehnici ~ti<strong>in</strong>tifice <strong>de</strong><br />

<strong>in</strong>vestigare se realizeaza specificarea, masurarea, culegerea, analiza ~i<br />

<strong>in</strong>terpretarea <strong>in</strong>formatiilor <strong>de</strong> market<strong>in</strong>g, <strong>de</strong>st<strong>in</strong>ate conducerii unitatii<br />

economice (a fermei Tn cazul nostru) pentru cunoa~terea mediului Tn care<br />

functioneaza, i<strong>de</strong>ntificarea oportunitatilor, evaluarea alternativelor actiunilor<br />

<strong>de</strong> market<strong>in</strong>g ~i a efectelor acestora.<br />

Pentru a <strong>de</strong>term<strong>in</strong>a anticipat piata <strong>cartoful</strong>ui ~i capacitatea ei, se<br />

utilizeaza metoda complexa <strong>de</strong> studiere a pietei, care se bazeaza pe<br />

meto<strong>de</strong>le cercetarii' <strong>de</strong> birou cat ~i pe cele ale cercetarii <strong>de</strong> teren.<br />

Studierea pietei reprez<strong>in</strong>ta domeniul cel mai important al cercetarii<br />

<strong>de</strong> market<strong>in</strong>g. Fenomenele ~i procesele d<strong>in</strong> cadrul pietei sunt foarte<br />

numeroase, extrem <strong>de</strong> complexe ~i <strong>de</strong> d<strong>in</strong>amice. Astfel, pot fi supuse<br />

<strong>in</strong>vestigatiei, pe <strong>de</strong> 0 parte, aspectele generale ale pietei <strong>cartoful</strong>ui, Tntre<br />

care: caracteristicile, structura, capacitatea ~i conjunctura pietei, d<strong>in</strong>amica<br />

fenomenelor <strong>de</strong> piata, dimensiunile spatia Ie ale pietei, etc.; pe <strong>de</strong> alta parte,<br />

obiectivul <strong>in</strong>vestigatiei TI pot constitui diferitele fenomene ~i categorii ale<br />

pietei <strong>cartoful</strong>ui, Tn mod <strong>de</strong>osebit, cererea ~i oferta, preturile ~i tarifele,<br />

exporturile ~i importurile, cotele <strong>de</strong> piata, pietele-test ~i altele.<br />

Prospectarea pietelor Tn ve<strong>de</strong>rea contractarii d<strong>in</strong> timp a fntregii<br />

produc(ii <strong>de</strong> cartof impune utilizarea cat mai larga a problematicii <strong>de</strong><br />

market<strong>in</strong>g legata <strong>de</strong> studierea caracteristicilor pietei §i <strong>de</strong> prelucrarile<br />

<strong>in</strong>formatiilor rezultate pe baza tehnicilor mo<strong>de</strong>rne <strong>de</strong> calcul.<br />
