Sammanfattningsvis kunde vi med
utgångspunkt från en klinisk studie som
undersökte effekten av strålbehandling
visa att survivin, PINCH och lymfkärl
var starkt kopplat till överlevnad hos
ändtarmscancerpatienter. Den här informationen
kan förhoppningsvis hjälpa oss
i framtiden att förlänga överlevnaden för
ändtarmscancerpatienter genom att välja
ut de patienter som är bäst lämpade
för strålbehandling.
