“STRENGTHENING THE QUALITY INFRASTRUCTURE” MEETING IN
SAMSUN CCI
Standardization, accreditation, comformity assessment and calibration has been discussed in the meeting
hosted by Samsun CCI for strengthening the quality infrastructure of Turkey with the participation of
unbiased experts. “Strengthening the Quality Infrastructure” Project is financed by European Commission
and carried out by General Directorate of Economy Product Safety and Supervision of Ministry of Economy
and Turkish Quality Association. Mustafa Kemal Şahin, Treasurer of the Board of Samsun CCI, Yiğit
Tören, Board Member, Mevlüt Özen, General Secretariat of Middle East Development Agency, Prof. Dr.
Fehmi Yazıcı, Chairman of the Board of Technopark, representatives from competent institutions and organizations
and experts which are carrying out the project has participated to the meeting.
THE MANAGEMENT AND 2011 ACTIVITY
REPORT WERE APPROVED
The management and 2011 actıvıty report were approved by a
unanimous vote at January Assembly Meeting. Haluk Akyüz, Vice
President of Samsun Chamber of Commerce and Industry, convey
his thanks to assembly members and declared that they will work
harder to be worthy of confidence.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP TRAINING FOR WOMEN
For woman entrepreneur nominates, “I Want To Be
An Entrepreneur” training was organized by Samsun
Woman Entrepreneurs Council with the cooperation
of European Bank For Reconstruction And
Development (EBRD) and Frankfurt School of Finance
& Management. Women entrepreneurs
showed great interest to the training. Yeşim Kıyıcı,
President of Woman Entrepreneurs Council made
a speech and stated that it is time for women to get self-confidence and go into the business world.
GERMANY LANDINGS OF FURNITURE SECTOR BUSINESSMEN
Furniture sector businessmen from Samsun visited “IMM Furniture Exhibition” in Koln, which is one of the
most important furniture exhibitions in the world, by
the organization of Samsun Chamber of Commerce
and Industry. Furniture sector businessmen visited
Milano Furniture exhibition last year again with the
organization of Samsun Chamber of Commerce
and Industry. Servet Keskinsoy, Vice President of Samsun
Chamber of Commerce and Industry was the
chief of delegation and 23 entrepreneurs participated
in the visit.
