Riva 110’ Dolcevita:
the flybridge that breaks the mold
The new Riva flagship rewrites the legend
of the world’s most iconic shipyard
As majestic as a masterpiece of art, as
glamorous as the most magical age in
modern history, Riva 110’ Dolcevita is the
fleet’s new fibreglass-based flagship. It
follows Riva 100’ Corsaro as the newest
model in the brand’s flybridge range.
Created through a collaboration between
Officina Italiana Design, the studio founded
by Mauro Micheli alongside Sergio
Beretta, Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy
Committee and the company’s Engineering
Department, 110’ Dolcevita is a flybridge
of unspeakable beauty manufactured
in La Spezia, at the production plant for all
models between 67 and 110 feet.
The vessel’s all-new design features an
overall length of nearly 34 metres with a
beam of 7.27 metres. The exterior design
stands out for its super sporty profile. To
the stern, lateral structures in fibreglass
and glass further enhance the yacht’s aerodynamic
qualities.
EXTERNAL AREAS
One of the most significant innovations on
the Riva 110’ Dolcevita is the interconnected
exterior area of the flybridge and bow:
this makes it possible to have an “infinity
deck” with approximately 34m² of unbroken
social areas running from the far end
of the stern to the far end of the foredeck.
The stern is fitted with the ground-breaking
Submersible Hatch: the garage door
opens onto the swimming platform to
form a large beach club right on the water’s
edge. The platform can also be lowered
below water level, offering guests the
opportunity to fully enjoy the benefits of
the stern area. When further submerged,
the lift conveniently floods the garage to
allow the tenders to be easily launched: it
is possible to have either a Williams 505
and a jet-ski, with independent launch, or
a larger tender (Williams 565) and jet-ski,
to be towed sequentially.
The flybridge can be accessed from the
stern via a spectacular steel and teak
staircase. Surrounded by a painted carbon-fibre
lifeline, it can be fitted with
free-standing furniture at the stern. Proceeding
further, you will find a cocktail corner
whose bar unit features an automatic
top cover and an informal dining area, before
reaching the monkey bridge located
starboard, at the far end of the forward
area. The innovative hard top boasts an
asymmetrical design and can be enhanced
by a plate glass sky light and polished
stainless steel inserts on request. The
predominant features in the forward area
are a large C-shaped sofa facing the bow
and a central sun pad. The standard layout
features another sun pad at the far forward
end, which conceals a garage where it is
possible to store a second tender or a water
toy with its respective davit.
Alternatively, the owner can opt for a jacuzzi
covered by a casing with sun pad,
which slides to reveal the hot tub while
concealing the mooring room, thus offering
guests the utmost exclusivity. This
