SummaryPerformance evaluation of the BIO--HYDRO structures in recultivation of theEłckie Lake. The paper presents the evaluationof effectiveness the water pollutantsremoval process by using the BIO-HYDROstructures, which play a role of biofilter forpollutants inflows to the Ełckie Lake withwaters of the Woszczelski Stream. The waterquality investigation were carried out inspring, summer and autumn of 2006 in twotest stands localized in front of the BIO-HY-DRO structures and behind them. Based onchanges the pollutant concentrations in teststands it was found that generally structuresworks poorly.
