The Educational Fund of the Polish-American
Medical Society
The Educational Fund of the Polish-American Medical Society was established in
2000 and is used to fund fellowships and grants for medical professionals from Poland to
enable them to visit medical centers in Chicago and the Midwest for advanced training
or research. The fund is administered by the Kosciuszko Foundation. The Kosciuszko
Foundation, founded in 1925, is dedicated to promoting educational exchange between the
United States and Poland.
Who is Eligible?
Physicians or medical scientists who are Polish citizens living in Poland and are accomplished
individuals with a clear goal of advanced training or research and have a good
knowledge of English.
Fellowship Application Procedure.
Fellowship application forms and requirements should be obtained from the Kosciuszko
Foundation www.thekf.org. The deadline for submitting applications is October 15 of
each year. The fellowship application and supporting materials will be reviewed by the
Polish-American Medical Society.
