Annual Physicians’ Ball
The Polish-American Medical Society Annual Physicians’ Ball is a philanthropic
social event that has become synonymous with charity and elegance.
The primary goal of each event is to collect funds to support educational
scholarships for Polish students in the health sciences, resident physicians, and
tions
and Chicago community groups.
Each Ball features one Guest of Honor. This title is awarded to a person of
Polish descent whose exemplary achievements have contributed to the arts or
sciences and have supported relations between Polish and American medical
communities. Every year, the Polish-American Medical Society also awards
Honorary Society Memberships to Polish physicians and scientists who have
demonstrated outstanding achievements in the health sciences. To date, 22
distinguished Polish physicians and researchers have been awarded Honorary
Memberships. These 22 recipients represent academic institutions around the
world including Poland, Europe, Africa, and several U.S. states.
To further its mission of supporting and mentoring young Polish Americans

We are proud that this has resulted in record numbers of medical student,
resident, and fellow attendees.
The Polish-American Medical Society is grateful for its academic, business,
and community sponsors who have attended and supported our Annual Physicians’
Balls. We are honored that community leaders and politicians continue
