To qualify <strong>the</strong> course a student is required to secure a m<strong>in</strong>imum of 40% marks <strong>in</strong> aggregate <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> semester-end<br />

exam<strong>in</strong>ation and te<strong>ac</strong>hers cont<strong>in</strong>uous evaluation.(i.e. both <strong>in</strong>ternal and external).A candidate who secures less than of<br />

40% of marks <strong>in</strong> a course shall be deemed to have failed <strong>in</strong> that course. The student should have at least 50% marks <strong>in</strong><br />

aggregate to qualify <strong>the</strong> semester end exam<strong>in</strong>ation. In case a student has more than 40% <strong>in</strong> e<strong>ac</strong>h course, but less than<br />

50% overall <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> semester end exam<strong>in</strong>ation, he/she shall re-appear <strong>in</strong> courses where <strong>the</strong> marks are less than 50% to<br />

<strong>ac</strong>hieve <strong>the</strong> required aggregate percentage of 50% <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> semester end exam<strong>in</strong>ation.<br />

Note: For <strong>in</strong>ternal assessment purpose, <strong>the</strong>re will be three Class Tests <strong>in</strong> a semester and best two tests will be computed<br />

<strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> f<strong>in</strong>al result.<br />

1. The question paper shall consist of eight questions. Out of which first question shall be of short answer type (not<br />

exceed<strong>in</strong>g 50 words) and will be compulsory. Question No. 1 shall conta<strong>in</strong> 8 parts represent<strong>in</strong>g all units of <strong>the</strong><br />

syllabus and students shall have to answer any five (weightage 4 marks e<strong>ac</strong>h).<br />

2. Out of <strong>the</strong> rema<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g seven questions, student shall be required to attempt any five questions. There will be<br />

m<strong>in</strong>imum one and maximum two questions from e<strong>ac</strong>h unit of <strong>the</strong> syllabus. The weightage of Question No. 2 to 8<br />

shall be 10 marks e<strong>ac</strong>h.<br />
