AnotaceTato práce se zabývá problematikou předvolebních průzkumů a nabízí určitý přehledmetodických postupů pro jejich provádění. Pro porovnání jsou zde uvedeny metodypředvolebních průzkumů používané ve Spojených státech amerických a doporučení různýchodborných asociací.Jádro této práce se zabývá samotným srovnáním metodických postupů českých agenturprovádějících předvolební průzkumy (CVVM, Factum Invenio, Median a STEM). Do tétopráce je zahrnuta i analýza výsledků volebních prognóz v roce 2010 v konfrontaci s volebnímivýsledky a hledáním možných příčin neúspěchu v metodice používané agenturami.Klíčová slova: komparace, předvolební průzkumAbstractThis thesis deals with the issue of pre-election polling and presents an overview ofmethodological approaches used for their conducting. First, the methods of pre-election pollswhich are used in the US are presented as well as the recommendations of variousprofessional associations.The core of this work examines the differences of methodological approaches used by Czechagencies (CVVM, Factum Invenio, Median and STEM). This paper also includes thecomparison of pre-election polls and the actual election results in the 2010 elections. Finally,the possible causes of failure in the methodology used by the agencies are analyzed.Key words: comparison, pre-election polling4
