CAMPING
Campingplads
Her bestemmer
Områdets tre campingpladser ligger i naturskønne omgivelser. Her
hinanden.
All inclusive
at the campsite
– It is entirely up to you to
decide how luxurious your stay at the
campsite should be
Some people prefer the rough and primitive while others
simply love a high level of comfort – the good news
are that everyone can stay exactly as they like, when
camping in the Lakelands.
The three local campsites are all situated in beautiful
surroundings.
The staffs are very hospitable and enjoy sharing their
knowledge and the beautiful surroundings with their
guests. At Holmens Camping in Ry the owners Tinne and
Claus are ready to give you a warm welcome and the
same goes for Joan and Ole at Skanderborg Sø Camping
and Tina and Thomas at Birkhede Camping. And they are
more than willing to tell you about all the things you can
do and see in the region during your stay.
helt speciel ro i Danmark.
Husk
Time passes slowly
Find lots of inspiration in the
local guidebooks ”12 beautiful
bicycle tours” and ”12 lovely
walks in the Lakelands”.
They can be purchased at the
campsites.
Hallo
Dänemark
As a teenager Britta Mehlhop from Hamburg used to
spend her summer holiday at Skanderborg Sø Camping
together with her parents. And last year she went back to
the campsite together with her husband and her five-yearold
son Tom.
- To me camping is the essence of a well-spent holiday. All
you need is an interesting book and time with your family. And
Denmark offers a unique kind of tranquillity. It is almost as
if time passes much slower as soon as you cross the Danish
border. And we love that! In Germany everything goes so fast.
But here you can relax and still feel that you have not missed
out on anything.
