BjORN DOTzaUER is a Danish born writer, now living in Copenhagen. He has also
lived in Israel, New York City, London and Paris as well as aarhus. In May, june and
july he publishes three books in English.
Bjorn Dotzauer is a modern writer telling stories about
human life as he is exploring it and experiencing it.

Bjorn Dotzauer is a prolific, honest, courageous and passionate
writer. As a poet, he makes every effort to provide
the world with insights into his feelings and ideas about
life, love and society.
As a well travelled person, he is able to incorporate

valuable perspectives concerning
life outside of Denmark
on a very humanistic
and relatable level. Though
his poems can often be obscure
and abstract, to say the
least, it is easy for anyone to
understand what he might
have been thinking or feeling
when he sat down to
pen them. His messages shine
through his art because
his messages are the most
important part of his creations.

Bjorn is an example of someone
who is doing a lot
with his life. He is travelling
the world, experiencing and
understanding a plethora of
cultures and lifestyles. He is
reacting to his feelings and
impressions of life and the
world around him and finally,
spinning his profound
thoughts into designer poems
for others to read and
relate to.
He will be the first to tell
you that he often feels trapped
in a box in Denmark
amongst a culture of people
who are afraid to put themselves
out there in any way
for fear of looking bad or different.
His message to the
shallow youth obsessed with pop culture and reality television
is clear:
“You are not in contact with who you are, and in a way
you are selling your souls.”
One could easily say that anyone willing to bind their
deepest thoughts and secrets into a book with a price
tag might be selling their soul as well, but Bjorn would
most definitely say to that:
“The poems are who I am, they are my real true face
and I am confidently unafraid to step out of the path.”
