Dachventilatoren<br />
Beschreibung<br />
Fördermedien<br />
Die Dachventilatoren sind zur Förderung staubfreier Luft<br />
und sonstigen nicht aggressiven Gasen und Dämpfen<br />
geeignet.<br />
Die Fördermediumstemperaturen sind typabhängig in<br />
den jeweiligen technischen Daten der Produkt-Doppelseiten<br />
angegeben.<br />
Kunststoff Dachventilatoren KDM sind korrosions- und<br />
witterungsbeständig. Sie eignen sich zur Absaugung<br />
aggresiver Gase oder Dämpfe (z. B. Laboratorien, Digestorien,<br />
Galvanotechnik usw.).<br />
Es ist zweckmäßig, bei der Bestellung oder Anfrage den<br />
Verwendungszweck bzw. die abzusaugenden Medien<br />
anzugeben, damit überprüft werden kann, ob die verwendeten<br />
Werkstoffe geeignet sind.<br />
Explosionsgeschützte Ausführung (ATEX)<br />
Dachventilatoren in explosionsgeschützter Ausführung<br />
entsprechen der EG-Richtlinie 94/9/EG (ATEX 95) Gerätekategorie<br />
3G. Sie sind zur Förderung explosionsfähiger<br />
Atmosphäre der Zone 2 und Aufstellung in Zone 2<br />
oder im nicht explosionsgefährdeten Bereich geeignet,<br />
die maximale Fördermediumstemperatur beträgt<br />
+40 °C.<br />
Die Dachventilatoren dürfen mit einer maximalen<br />
Schräglage von 5° betrieben werden.<br />
Antriebsarten<br />
Nicotra Gebhardt-Außenläufermotoren<br />
Für den Antrieb werden praxisbewährte Einbaumotoren<br />
verwendet. Geräusch geprüfte und wartungsfreie Rillenkugellager<br />
gewährleisten eine hohe Lebensdauer.<br />
Zum Schutz vor thermischer Überlastung sind sämtliche<br />
Motoren mit Thermokontakten ausgerüstet.<br />
Dieser thermische Überlastschutz muss im Betrieb wirksam<br />
sein, um die Werksgarantie im Schadensfall beanspruchen<br />
zu können. Bitte informieren Sie sich mittels<br />
des zugeordneten Schaltplanes am Ventilator oder online<br />
unter www.nicotra-gebhardt.com über die schalttechnische<br />
Einbindung der Thermokontakte.<br />
IEC-Normmotoren<br />
Für den Antrieb werden Normmotoren in Flanschausführung<br />
B5, Schutzart IP 55, Wärmeklasse F verwendet.<br />
Die Baureihen umfassen eintourige, mehrtourige<br />
und drehzahlveränderbare Varianten.<br />
Je nach Ausführung sind die Motoren mit Kaltleiter-Temperaturfühlern<br />
oder mit Thermokontakten ausgerüstet.<br />
Diese schützen in Verbindung mit einem Auslösegerät,<br />
einem Motorvollschutzschaltgerät oder einem Drehzahlsteller<br />
mit integrierter Motorschutzfunktion den Motor<br />
vor Überlastung.<br />
Dieser thermische Überlastschutz muss bei Betrieb<br />
wirksam sein, um die Werksgarantie im Schadensfall<br />
beanspruchen zu können.<br />

<strong>Roof</strong> extract fans<br />
Description<br />
Gas media<br />
The roof extract units are suitable for the transport of<br />
dust-free air and other non-aggressive gases and vapours.<br />
The possible min. and max. temperatures of the conveying<br />
medium for each fan are given <strong>with</strong> the specification<br />
sheet.<br />
Plastic roof fans KDM are corrosion resistant and weather<br />
proof. They are designed for extraction of aggressive<br />
gases or vapours (e.g. laboratories, suction hoods,<br />
galvanic processing etc.).<br />
For an order or inquiry it is advisable to state the proposed<br />
usage and / or media to be conveyed, so that<br />
it can be checked that the materials employed are<br />
suitable.<br />
Explosion-proofed Version (ATEX)<br />
<strong>Roof</strong> fan in explosion proof specification correspond to<br />
the EU guide line 94/9/EG (ATEX) category 3G. They are<br />
suitable for conveying explodable atmosphere of zone<br />
2 and for installation in zone 2 or in an area which is not<br />
under explosion hazard. The maximum conveying temperature<br />
is +40 °C.<br />
The installation of roof fans on an inclined roof is allowed<br />
until an inclination of 5° to vertical.<br />
Drive types<br />
Nicotra Gebhardt external-rotor motors<br />
Integrated motors that have proved themselves in<br />
practice are used for the <strong>drive</strong>. Deep groove ball bearings<br />
that have been checked to be quiet and maintenance<br />
free ensure a long service life.<br />
To protect against thermal overload, all motors are<br />
equipped <strong>with</strong> thermal contacts.<br />
This thermal overload protection must be effective during<br />
operation in order for the factory guarantee to apply<br />
in case of damage. Please be sure to study the associated<br />
circuit diagram for the fan regarding the technical<br />
inclusion of thermal contacts, also available online at<br />
www.nicotra-gebhardt.com.<br />
IEC standard motors<br />
The standard fan <strong>drive</strong> consists of flanged IEC motors,<br />
execution B5, protection class IP 55, heat class F. There<br />
is single-speed, multi-speed, and speed controlled motors<br />
available.<br />
According to their execution the motors are equipped<br />
<strong>with</strong> either PTC thermistors or <strong>with</strong> thermo contacts as<br />
a standard. In connection <strong>with</strong> a triggering unit, a motor<br />
protection unit, or a speed control unit <strong>with</strong> integrated<br />
protection, each fan <strong>drive</strong> will be protected against thermal<br />
overload.<br />
This thermal overload protection has to be in place and<br />
to be effective during operation in order to make the<br />
warranty applying in case of damage.<br />
