Mit dem Fahrrad den Kosmos erkunden? Noch dazu freihändig, ohne sicheren
Halt?
Zunächst in
Bonvicini reicht.
Seit 1997 ist die Sammlung in Berlin ansässig. Erstmals wird sie nun in einer
Monografi e publiziert.
Exploring the cosmos on your bicycle, using no hands and having no safe footing?
From the very beginning the collectors Erika and Rolf Hoffmann have been interested
in the artistic breaking of rules and the crossing of boundaries. They began building
up their art collection at the end of the 1960s. Over the past 40 years a collection has
grown whose spectrum ranges from El Lissitzky via Jean Tinguely and Frank Stella to
Frank Nitsche and from Nina Kogan via Isa Genzken to Vanessa Beecroft and Monica
Bonvicini. Since 1997 the collection has been housed in Berlin and for the fi rst time ever
it is now published in a monograph.
