University of Luxembourg conducts
research in Waldner laboratories

Auf einem ehemaligen Industriegelände entsteht
die „Cité des Sciences” in Esch-Belval.
The "Cité des Sciences" is built on former
industrial land in Esch-Belval.
The University of Luxembourg has invested millions in the new research
building for Biomedicine. Since early October, the labs are now open
and over 50 biologists, physicists and mathematicians from 13 countries
will be working in laboratories from the Allgaeu region of Germany.
In an unbelievably short period of only 18 months, the
6-storey "LCSB“ (Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine)
was built and fully fitted with laboratory workstations
to date. Waldner equipped a floor area of 700m 2 with
SCALA laboratory furniture and over half the area was fitted
with the service ceiling – for the most flexible and adaptable
research environment possible.
In future, the biological progress of diseases will be researched
in the "LCSB" in order to understand them better.
