WALDNER GmbH & Co. KG
attended Technopharm in Nuremberg
from 11 to 13 October together with
Hecht Automatisierungssysteme GmbH
and Silverson Ltd. The companies exhibited
a whole range of products: Waldner
was showing a research isolator for
working with highly-toxic and corrosive
substances, as well as an isolator
for weighing hormones. A further much
sought-after product was the Waldner
docking system that can be used to
dock a portable vessel to an isolator
for filling. Our partner company Hecht
was showing its "Asip" clean room
monitoring system, this time as a compact
version, while Silverson Ltd. was
exhibiting a laboratory mixer and a
high-shear mixer, used, among other
things, in Waldner cooking lines.
Compared with previous years' trends,
both the number and quality of visitors
far exceeded expectations this year.
The percentage of foreign contacts was
also significantly higher, demonstrating
that "Made in Germany" quality is
still very much in demand today.
Schon seit einigen Jahren finden jeweils im Frühjahr die Reinraum-
Lounges in Karlsruhe statt. Bei dieser neuartigen Idee wurde
die altbewährte Verknüpfung von Kongress mit vorgelagerter Messe
(Table-Top Exhibition) weiterentwickelt. Ziel des Events ist der Informationsaustausch
zwischen den Besuchern und den Ausstellern bei
lockeren Gesprächen am Stand, innerhalb von Vorträgen und in
Diskussionsforen. Die Veranstaltung findet in einer aufgelockerten,
entspannten (loungeartigen) Atmosphäre mit diversen Sitzecken und
„Themenbars“ statt, welche Gelegenheit zur entspannten Kommunikation
bieten. Die Messe dauert insgesamt drei Tage. Der Besucher hat
jeden Tag die Möglichkeit, sich sein Tagesprogramm mit Vorträgen und
Standbesuchen individuell zu planen.
2012 findet erstmals parallel zu den Lounges die „Vision Pharma“
statt. Wie oben bereits beschrieben, steht bei den Lounges das Thema
Reinraum bzw. das reine Prozessumfeld im Vordergrund. Die Vision
Pharma erweitert den Horizont um das Thema „Pharmaprozess“,
in welchem sich Process Systems optimal wieder findet. Deshalb ist
Process Systems sowohl mit einem Stand im Messebereich, als auch
mit einem Vortrag zum Thema „Neue Trends beim Ansatz hochaktiver
Wirkstoffe“ vertreten.

"RKarlsruhe. The aim of the 3-day event is to provide a platform
for an exchange of information between visitors and exhibitors during
relaxed discussions on company stands, during talks and in discussion
forums. The event is held in an informal, relaxed (lounge-like)
atmosphere, with various seating corners and "themed bars" offering
opportunities for relaxed discussions. Visitors have an opportunity to
plan their daily programme in person with a range of talks and visits
to company stands.
"Vision Pharma" will be held for the first time parallel to the Lounges
in 2012, extending the exhibition's horizons with "pharmaceutical processing".
As this fits in perfectly with the Process Systems division, we
will be attending with a stand in the exhibition zone, as well as giving
a talk on the topic of "New trends in the use of highly-active agents".
