Actelion expands in Allschwil with
laboratory furniture from Waldner

In future some 380 people will work at the laboratory
work stations and office workplaces in the new
Research and Development building of the Business
Centre owned by Actelion Pharmaceutical Ltd. near
Basel in Switzerland.
Das Projekt „Actelion H89“ umfasste sechs Stockwerke.
Innerhalb von nur fünf Monaten montierte die Waldner AG
die Laboreinrichtung auf über 5.500 m 2 – komplett in weiß.
Mit 166 Secuflow-Laborabzügen auf dem neuesten Stand
der Technik, unzähligen Medienzellen und individuell abgestimmtem
Mobiliar steht in Allschwil nun ein Labor für die
Zukunft.

The company attached great importance to the
quality, safety, environmental awareness and
innovative design and technology of both the building
concept and also the interior fit-out. This was
a major challenge for Waldner's Swiss subsidiary
Waldner AG, which was awarded the contract for
all the laboratory equipment by Actelion.
Waldner AG installed at "Actelion H89" the laboratory
furniture over a floor area of 5.500 m 2 –
completely in white throughout – within a period
of only five months.
With 166 state of the art Secuflow fume cupboards,
innumerable service spines and individually
coordinated furniture, Allschwil is now home
to a laboratory for the future.
