Selling or importing bubble gum is illegal in Singapore and is fined with<br />

S$1,000. Similar bans include dropping litter (S$1,000), dancing in public<br />

According to the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, “Ecstasy<br />

always goes with wine and music”. In order to fight the use of Ecstasy and<br />

other life-style drugs, the Government of Vietnam will issue a ban on dancing in<br />

karaoke bars starting September 1st, 2009.<br />

At least if you are a faithful Muslim residing in Malaysia. 2008 the National<br />

Fatwa Council ruled that Muslim women who wore trousers risked becoming<br />

sexually active or turning into lesbians. The council also stated that, “Yoga<br />

could cause (Muslims) to stray from their faith because its movements are<br />

according to the style and traditions of Hinduism”. As a recommendation, the<br />

council added that “There are other ways to get exercise. You can go cycling,<br />

swimming and eat less fatty food.”<br />

Although New Year celebrations in Cambodia tend to be a wet affair, it is illegal<br />

to use water guns to drench your neighbour during the festivities.
