Once again, Hartness International has developed a packaging solution that has the

innovation is a new business unit, Hartness-Inks . Hartness-Inks unites the
packaging experience of Hartness International with a new proprietary ink
technology for direct print labeling on a variety of bottles and containers.
Hartness-Inks Uvaclear is an ultraviolet curable ink that is supplied in a wide
range of colors, including metallics. The unique benefit of this UV-cured product is
that it offers brightly defined colors and images that capture consumer attention on
the store shelf, yet possess the durability of Applied Ceramic Labels (ACL), sleeves,
or paper labels. Uvaclear is ecologically friendly and directly supports sustainability
efforts by eliminating heavy metals, utilizing substantially less energy than a
traditional ACL process, and eliminating waste generated by paper labels. The
organic nature of the ink makes it suitable for recycling as it is burned off during the
recycle process without contamination. This technology also offers a sustainable
alternative to sleeve labels, which are generally not able to be recycled.
