In diesemProjekt wird dieser Ansatz zur selbststeuerndenLagerverwaltung umfassendweiterentwickelt und mittelsheute verfügbarer Sensorsystemeund Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologienin Form einesPrototypen umgesetzt.(DFG, 01/2008-12/2009)Collaborative Research Centre 637Transfer projects of the CRC 637“Autonomous Cooperating LogisticProcesses”In the first four years since its conception, the Collaborative Research Center637 “autonomous logistical processes”of Bremen University has addressed problemsregarding autonomous logisticsin production and transport logistics. Theautonomy of the logistic objects such ascargo, transit equipment and transportationsystems can be realized by novelcommunication technologies such asRadio Frequency Identification (RFID) andwireless communication networks.Aside from continuing basic research, the 2nd funding period will usher in theimplementation of practical applicationsin so-called transfer projects. The following transfer projects of the CRC637 were researched at BIBA:Subproject T2Autonomous Order Allocation alongthe Supply ChainMotivation for the project arises fromweaknesses in centralized logisticsinformation and control systems whendealing with existing or emerging supplyor transport chains involving great distances, such as in the textile industry. This causes cost intensive redirection oftransport and large inventories to dealwith supply insecurity. The project aims todevelop, in cooperation with a businesspartner, a control method for refiningautonomous order allocation of goodsalong the supply chain. The method willallow goods to allocate themselves tocustomer orders during transport or whilebeing stored in warehouses, taking intoaccount customer orders, quality andavailability of the goods regarding timeand space.(DFG, 01/2008-12/2009)Subproject T3Sensor Systems for AutonomouslyControlled Storage ManagementSubject of the project is the developmentof an autonomous control methodfor an autonomous controlled storagemanagement of vehicles and the prototypicaldevelopment and implementationof appropriate sensor systems. The improvement of an autonomousrule-based control method for the storagemanagement of vehicles on anautomobile terminal of E.H.Harms Automobile-Logisticswas shown in subprojectA1. The aim of this project is to advancethe autonomously controlled storagemethod. A hard- and software prototypewith sensor systems and information andcommunication technology shall alsobe realized.(DFG, 01/2008-12/2009)62
