asota produces staple fibres based on Polypropylene,<br />
Polyethylene, Polyamide(6) using<br />
the short spinning technique. on customers<br />
demand all fibres are also available in<br />
pigmentdyed with a denier range from<br />
1dtex-600dtex at cutlengths ranging from<br />
6mm to 150mm. Next to the commonly produced<br />
circular fibre cross section there are<br />
also trilobal and hollow shapes available.<br />
the applications for the final products from<br />
the Linz-site have a wide variety: Needlefelt<br />
floorcoverings but also tufted and woven<br />
carpets; car trunks but also floor linings for<br />
automotive uses as well as parcel shelves<br />
with high uV properties; sports floorings<br />
both for indoor and outdoor; sports- and<br />
functional wear; awning products; concrete<br />
and paper reinforcement. the fibres can be<br />
equipped with flameretardant and antimicrobial<br />
properties.<br />
Regarding to customers demands and requests<br />
for new developed products asota has<br />
its own R&d department, specialized application<br />
engineering together with separate<br />

asota stellt Stapelfasern aus Polypropylen,<br />
Polyethylen <strong>und</strong> Polyamid(6) im Kurzschmelzspinnverfahren<br />
her. die Fasern können<br />
durch Spinnfärbung in jeder beliebigen<br />
Farbeinstellung in titern von 1–600 dtex<br />
<strong>und</strong> in Schnittlängen von 6–150 mm produziert<br />
werden. Neben einem r<strong>und</strong>en Faserquerschnitt<br />
ist auch ein trilobaler oder hohler<br />
Querschnitt machbar.<br />
die anwendungsmöglichkeiten für die am<br />
Standort Linz hergestellten Stapelfasern sind<br />
vielfältig: bodenbeläge aus Nadelfilzen oder<br />
tufting- <strong>und</strong> Webteppiche, Kofferraum- <strong>und</strong><br />
bodenauskleidungen sowie hoch-uV-stabile<br />
Hutablagen im automobil, in- <strong>und</strong> outdoorgeeignete<br />
Sportbeläge, Sport- <strong>und</strong> Funktionsbekleidung,<br />
Sonnenschutztextilien, beton-<br />
<strong>und</strong> Papierverstärkung. Eine flammhemmende<br />
ausrüstung ist ebenso möglich<br />
wie eine antimikrobielle Faservariante.<br />
Eine eigene F&E-abteilung mit Versuchsanlage,<br />
