The course will be held in English in Kiel at the Heinrich-Hammer Postgraduate Education Institute and at the Dept. of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeryat the University Hospital of <strong>Schleswig</strong>-<strong>Holstein</strong>. Prof. Dr. Dr. Jörg Wiltfang (Univ.of Kiel), Prof. Dr. Erik Hjørting-Hansen (Univ. of Copenhagen) and Prof. Dr. Dr. FranzHärle (HHI) are responsible for the scientific management and Dr. Eleonore Behrens isresponsible for running the course. The modules will be presented by a faculty of internationallyacknowledged experts from clinics and private offices, who will familiarize thecolleagues with ways of integrating implant dentistry into their own offices.The Curriculum is independent of commercial interests. However, it is intended to providea platform to present the current implant systems of the most important implantmanufacturers. The Curriculum is scheduled for approximately one year and comprises9 two-day week-end modules with a total of roughly 150 hours of lectures and hands-onwork. The objective is to give participants an overview of the entire field of endosseousdental implant treatment. Groups of 20 students are offered a mix of theory and practice,live surgery or video demonstrations and hands-on training during each of the weekendmodules held on Fridays and Saturdays.
