Semester (Protokoll und Essay) vom 27.7. bis 14. 8. in <strong>der</strong> vorlesungsfreien Zeit<br />

Lecture: Molecular biology of pl<strong>an</strong>t-environment interactions (light signaling, regulation of flowering time,<br />
symbiosis with mykorrhiza, molecular biology of pathogen defense), developmental pl<strong>an</strong>t biology, gene<br />
technology in crops.<br />
Tutorial: Students are supported by <strong>an</strong> interactive tutorial that reviews the contents of the lecture.<br />
Lab work: Genomics in pl<strong>an</strong>t molecular biology, molecular imaging, protein-protein interaction studies,<br />
cell-cell interaction, affinity chromatography, REAL-TIME PCR for <strong>an</strong>alysis of gene expression, other<br />
adv<strong>an</strong>ced techniques of mo<strong>der</strong>n molecular <strong>an</strong>d cell biology. Labwork will take place in the teaching<br />
