In this research and design seminar we want to explore the possibilities of a <strong>TU</strong>RN of <strong>Berlin</strong>-<br />
Brandenburg into a socially , economically, ecologically sustainable and equitable model region.<br />
We are aiming at designing a positive integrated and forward-looking vision for the development<br />
of <strong>Berlin</strong>-Brandenburg within the next 20 years. we will investigate the potentials of „Low Carbon<br />
Conversion“ as a key strategy to reach that aim.<br />

The Seminar is the urban design part of Modul 20 and can be chosen together with the design<br />
projects of Prof. Stef fan. It is moreover strongly connected to the design project „Low Carbon<br />
Conversion <strong>Berlin</strong>-Brandenburg“ and will be organized as a compact two weeks workshop together<br />
with the students of this larger seminar.<br />
