CASA MAGICA<br />
Friedrich Förster and Sabine Weißinger have been<br />
working mainly in Europe and the USA. Since 1995<br />
they jointly develop concepts staging architectural<br />
spaces through light images. Their complex works are<br />
rooted in the intertwining of place- or topic-related<br />
research and technical excellence. They develop<br />
imagery to reinvent semantic qualities of architectural<br />
and urban spaces.<br />

Based on the imagery engen<strong>der</strong>ed by brain<br />
examination via magnetic resonance tomography<br />
Casa Magica developed a variety of animated 3D<br />
shapes. Their dynamic evolution and their motion<br />
patterns were worked into a composition which corresponded<br />
with the facade of the Electoral Palace<br />
where it was projected.
