released a new line of electromechanical<br />
relay switches<br />
that improve system capabilities<br />
and simplify design with a<br />
solderless, reliable connection<br />
able to withstand the elements,<br />
shock and vibration.<br />
Typical applications include<br />
Hi-Rel electronics, commercial<br />
aviation, military communications,<br />
broadcast systems,<br />
medical equipment, Satcom,<br />
test and instrumentation.<br />
Fairview’s new line of electromechanical<br />
relay switches<br />
consists of 44 different 12 and<br />
28 V designs offered in SPDT,<br />
SP3T, SP4T and SP6T configurations<br />
that support either latching,<br />
failsafe or normally open<br />
actuators with usable features<br />
such as indicators, terminations<br />
or TTL logic. They operate<br />
in frequency ranges from<br />
DC to 26.5 GHz and feature a<br />
D-SUB multi-pin connector<br />
interface for secure and reliable<br />
DC voltage and command<br />
control functions.<br />
These switches are designed to<br />
be compact and rugged, supporting<br />
N-type or SMA connectors.<br />
Typical performance<br />
includes 90 dB isolation levels<br />
and 0.15 dB insertion loss.<br />
Power handling capability is<br />
rated up to 600 watts.<br />
They are highly reliable with an<br />
operational temperature of -20<br />
to +70 °C and a rating of up to<br />
5M lifecycles when used in a<br />
make before break (cold switching)<br />
condition. All models in<br />
this line are RoHS and REACH<br />
compliant and guaranteed to<br />
meet MIL-STD-202 test conditions<br />

Mesh Network<br />
Radiocrafts announced a complete<br />
wireless IP mesh solution<br />
based on fully integrated RF<br />
modules. 6LoWPAN is a lightweight<br />
version of IPv6 allowing<br />
the user to access each sensor<br />
and controller from the internet<br />
using IP addressing. The radio<br />
protocol uses IEEE 802.15.4 g/e<br />
providing bi-directional communications<br />
with short transmission<br />
pulses that enables dense<br />
networks with high reliability<br />
and very low power consumption.<br />
A complete RIIoT network<br />
includes sensor nodes based on<br />
the RC1882CEF-IPM module.<br />
The module can be configured<br />
as any of the required network<br />
nodes, a border router, a mesh<br />
router or a leaf node. The new<br />
Wireless IP Mesh solution is<br />
low cost, does not require any<br />
license or subscription, and is<br />
very low power.<br />

announced a new RoHS compliant<br />
fixed frequency phase<br />
locked loop model SFS1520C-<br />
LF operating in the L-band.<br />
The SFS1520C-LF is a plug and<br />
play PLO allowing for quick<br />
integration and designed to produce<br />
a fixed signal at 1520 MHz<br />
when utilized with an external<br />
10 MHz reference oscillator.<br />
This simple to use PLO features<br />
a typical low phase noise performance<br />
of -100 dBc/Hz, -110<br />
dBc/Hz, and -133 dBc/Hz at the<br />
1 kHz, 10 kHz and 100 kHz offsets,<br />
respectively.<br />
The SFS1520C-LF is designed to<br />
deliver a nominal output power<br />
of 3 dBm while operating off a<br />
supply of 5 Vdc and drawing<br />
28 mA and a phase locked loop<br />
voltage of 3 Vdc while drawing<br />
10 mA.<br />
This unmatched product features<br />
a typical harmonic suppression<br />
of 20 dBc and spurious suppression<br />
of 65 dBc. It is housed in<br />
Z-COMM’s standard PLL-V12C<br />
package measuring 0.6 x 0.6 x<br />
0.22 in. The SFS1520C-LF is<br />
also ideal for automated surface<br />
mount assembly and is available<br />
in tape and reel packaging.<br />
