M-Fibre is not available
as rolled goods or standard
solutions, but is a
lighting system in which
all individual components
are optimally tailored to
the respective customer
requirements. In addition to
the system’s high flexibility
and outstanding light
quality, other advantages
of the new, largely toolfree
technology, are the
low initial costs and short
development times.
The new side light fibre
gives product designers
and developers multiple
ways of achieving functional
yet decorative linear
lighting or indirect ambient
lighting. Integration in
freeform surfaces is also
easily possible. Through
the spatial separation of
the light source and the
light emitting surface,
M-Fibre can also be used

LOW COST LED DRIVER
WITH CONSTANT CURRENT SUPLY
IN ULTRA COMPACT DESIGN
With the RACD03 AC/DC LED driver, RECOM contributes
to the recent advances in the luminous intensity of LEDs,
according to which power levels of just a few watts are
sufficient for a large number of applications. This AC/DC
LED driver serves the growing demand for low cost
drivers below the previously available products with
12W, 20W, 30W and 60W power. With an input voltage
range of 90 to 264AC the new driver can be used universally
on all networks worldwide.
3 W Class II AC/DC
LED power supply
The RACD03 can drive three 1W LEDs with 350mA
or single 3W LED with 700mA constant current. The
LED-Driver has flying leads. RACD03 is IP65 rated and
can be used in damp area such as sanitary facilities,
exterior lights or cellar.
Although the converter is very compact with a low
profile case that is 39mm x 30mm x 21mm high for the
RACD03, contain a fully featured input filter and meet
EN61347, EN55015 and FCC18A without the need for
any external components. The converter offer 3kVAC
isolation and is CE and EN safety certified. UL8750
certification is pending. The LED driver is designed to
give a long, trouble-free life. The “Design Lifetime” is
rated at >20.000 hours, equivalent to 8 hours daily
operating time up to 7 years. The warranty period
is 3 years.
