On behalf of myself I would like to extend prayers to the friends, colleagues, and family members of the two fallen
firefighters. I did not know either of the 2 men or their families, but in my eyes I personally believe that both these men
should be remembered as heroes for putting their lives on the line just to make sure that there was no one else in the
building. Sorry about your loss. Jeremy Martin
I would like to express my sincere condolences to the families and fellow firefighters of Deputy District Chief Ken Rea
and Firefighter Ray Walter. As an Emergency Services worker, I understand the dangers that are faced when the call of
duty comes. Rest assured that their sacrifice will never be forgotten. Jason Brinson County of Brant EMS
Volunteer men,
you left aching hearts behind
In the hearts you left behind
your memories abide
in undying gratitude
You asked nothing more
You knew the risks,
served without fear
and paid the highest price
You embody a quality
of which many only dream
Your selfesness for others
is now your eternal crown
O fallen volunteers,
give us all this quality
that we may more fittingly
prolong your memory.......
