Words at a time like this seem so inadequate to describe how one really feels about the passing of DDFC Ken Rae and
FF Ray Walter but hopefully there will be some solace for their families and colleagues in knowing there are so many
who truly share their loss. On behalf of my wife and I, rest assured that you are in our thoughts and prayers during
these difficult times.
On behalf of myself, and the members of the Parksville, B.C. Volunteer Fire Department, we wish to extend our heartfelt
condolences to the Rea and Walter families, as well as the members of the Listowel / North Perth Fire Department. Our
thoughts are with you at this most difficult time.
"Greater love has no one than this; that somebody lay down his life for his friends" - John 15:13. I pray and wish for
all North Perth firefighters to take courage that our brothers selflessly served their neighbours and community, and this
is the highest calling one can have. May God bless and give strength to each of you who mourn their departure. May
He also give you strength to continue to serve during this difficult time.
On behalf of all the members of the Ste-Angle-de-Monnoir Fire Service I would like to offer my most sincere
condolences to the families of Chief Rae and FF Walter, as well as their colleagues with the North Perth Fire Service.
