My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of the fallen and to the men and women who served with them. March 26, 2011
Our thoughts are with the families of your the fallen firefighters and will remain so over the weeks to come. May the loss
of these two firefighters continue to remind all firefighters just how treacherous the tasks of firefighting is and also just
how quickly an incident can turn tragic. May we keep the words of Canon Henry Scott Holland (1847 - 1918) Canon of
St. Paul's Cathedral who in speaking of the deceased said in part:
" Let my name be ever the household word that it was, let it be spoken without effect, without the trace of a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was, there is unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of mind
because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you .... All is well"

After being at the funeral service on Thursday and seeing the support given to the families of Ken and Ray, I feel truly
proud to be a part of the brotherhood of firefighters. May we all be as brave and selfless as these two heroes. My
thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
On behalf of all our members we extend our deepest sympathy to the families of Ken and Ray, and the North Perth Fire
Service.

My Deepest Sympathy to all of you. I cannot imagine what you are all feeling at this very difficult and very sad time. I
did not know Ray or Ken but from what i hear they were exceptional both as firefighters and as people. I was not able to
make it to there funeral but wanted deeply to send my condolences to there familys and fellow firefighters of the North
Perth Fire Dept Listowel Station. May you all get through this together and suffer no more heartache. God Bless You
All.
Everyone will remember the supreme sacrifice made by 2 exceptional firefighters. My sincere sympathies are extended
to their families. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
